BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WSVN) — Ky Michaelson’s beer-powered motorcycle is getting around Minnesota. Michaelson, also known as “The Rocketman,” is known for his out-of-the-box thinking and unorthodox creations. But his latest invention may be his most unique yet — a beer-powered motorcycle.Instead of a traditional gas engine, Michaelson’s motorcycle is powered by a 14-gallon keg filled with beer, which is heated by a coil inside. Michaelson believes that his bike can reach speeds of up to 150 miles per hour.“I like to be really creative, do things that other people have never done in the past,” Michaelson said. “Yeah, it could be any kind of liquid. It could be Red Bull. It could be Caribou Coffee,” said Buddy, Michaelson’s son. “It could be anything. But beer. Why not?”While Michaelson hasn’t taken his beer-powered motorcycle out on the road just yet, he has already won a few local car shows with his in...Elon Musk says he’s found a new CEO for Twitter

(CNN) — As the US faces a near-record number of drug shortages, cancer treatments are among the hardest hit. There is an active shortage of about two dozen chemotherapy drugs, the fifth most of any drug category, according to data from the end of March from the University of Utah Drug Information Service.“The fact that we have this many chemo drugs in shortage is really concerning,” said Michael Ganio, senior director of pharmacy practice and quality at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.Unlike some other drugs that also rank among the top five categories for shortages, such as antimicrobials, there aren’t often alternatives for chemotherapy drugs, he said. And the shortages are affecting treatment for a broad range of cancers.“One of the key predictors of how well a patient will respond to treatment is getting a full dose on the right schedule,” Ganio said. “So when we can’t give the drug because we just can’t get ...Trump appeals verdict finding him liable for sexual assault

Jean Carroll.Trump’s lawyers filed a notice of appeal in the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday, two days after the nine-person jury ordered Trump to pay Carroll $5 million in damages.Carroll accused Trump of sexually assaulting her in the dressing room of a department store in the 1990s. She sued Trump for battery and defamation.Trump’s appeal was widely expected, as the former president’s attorneys said they planned to contest the verdict shortly after it was delivered. The appeal comes as Carroll is weighing more legal action against the GOP presidential candidate, according to a New York Times report, after he continued to vilify the former advice columnist during a CNN town hall on Wednesday evening.During the live event, Trump joked about Carroll’s claims, calling it a “fake” story.“It’s just stupid, it’s just disgusting, vile...How to watch the Turkish elections like a pro

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his Justice and Development Party (AKP) are hoping to remain at the head of the table in what, according to recent polls, is expected to be the closest race in the country’s recent electoral history. After two decades in power, a win for Erdoğan would consolidate his vision of the future of the country, as well as the presidential system he ushered in.On the international stage, Erdoğan has been playing a high-wire act on topics such as the war in Ukraine and who should join NATO. But he also faces domestic concerns, such as an escalating economic crisis, soaring inflation, and criticism of the government’s handling of February’s deadly earthquakes, which devastated large swathes of the country.Meanwhile, the main opposition coalition is made up of an eclectic mix of six political parties. First and foremost, a win for them would mean a return to a parliamentary system of governance.Looming concerns include how exactly voting will take...Latest news
