Police confiscate loaded handgun at Albany Airport ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) –  On Tuesday, Transportation Security Administration officers prevented a Rensselaer County man from carrying a loaded gun onto a flight at the Albany International Airport. Officers shoot man in north St. Louis ST. LOUIS - Police officers shot a man Wednesday afternoon in north St. Louis.According to Sgt. Charles Wall, a spokesman for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened around 2 p.m. in the 4200 block of Linton Avenue, located in the Fairgrounds neighborhood. Multiple people quit within hours at Jennings City Hall Wall said the man who was shot is conscious and breathing. Victim identified in fatal Midtown shooting near SLU campus ST. LOUIS - Homicide detectives with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department say the victim and suspect in Tuesday’s fatal shooting in Midtown knew each other.Police identified the victim as Jaylen French of Florissant. French was shot just before 2 p.m. near Lindell Boulevard and Spring Avenue, feet away from the northern edge of St. Louis University’s campus. French was 25.The suspect, identified only as a 19-year-old man, was found shot in the 3700 block of Lindell.
